Some brazen burglars hit two upscale subdivisions in the Lakeland area Monday morning and might have gotten away with it if they hadn't been caught in the act.
Lakeland became the first suburb to start the ordinance process for its municipal school district today in a meeting representative of the pace at which outlying cities need to approve their part of the procedure.
